# Move coach sessions to another day

Your coach plans the week in Train2Go; your week does not always go to plan.
In Kaiord you can move a coach session to another day, and when your coach
moves it instead, the card follows on the next sync.

*Leer en español: [Mueve a otro día las sesiones de tu entrenador](/es/guide/move-coach-sessions).*

## Moving a session

A coach session can be moved once it is a workout in Kaiord, that is, once
you have converted the coach's plan. There are three ways to do it:

* **Drag** the session's card to another day in the calendar's **Grid** view.
* Open the session and choose **Move to another day** in the coaching dialog.
It works in the **List** view too, with no drag.
* On the workout page, open **More options** and choose **Move to another
  day**.

If the new day already holds a session of the same sport, Kaiord asks before
it moves. A session you have done, with a recorded activity or marked
completed by your coach, can't be moved, and Kaiord says why.

## What "Moved from" means

A session you moved shows **Moved from {day}** on its card, in the coaching
dialog and on the workout page. That day is where your coach has it. The
chip is the only trace of your move: it stays in Kaiord.

::: info Train2Go is not updated
Train2Go doesn't accept changes from Kaiord, so a move in Kaiord never
reaches Train2Go and your coach still sees the original day. Tell your coach
when you move a session.

## When your coach moves a session

When your coach moves a session in Train2Go, the next sync moves the card to
the coach's new day, even into another week. If you had moved that session
yourself, the coach's move wins, and a notice names the day you had it on,
with **Move back to {day}**.

Re-syncing a week your coach didn't change keeps your own moves where they
are.

## What "Garmin still on" means

Moving a session never sends anything to Garmin, and neither does a sync. If
the session was already on your Garmin calendar, Garmin keeps it on the old
day until you update it:

* The card carries a **Garmin: Tue 6** badge, or **Garmin? Tue 6** when Kaiord
could not confirm the Garmin entry.
* The workout page and the coaching dialog say **Garmin still on {date}**, or
**Garmin may still be on {date}**, with **Update Garmin**.
* A drag in the calendar or a move from the workout page ends with a message
that names the Garmin day and offers the same **Update Garmin**.

**Update Garmin** schedules the workout on the new day first and removes the
old entry only after that, so the session is never missing from your Garmin
calendar. The badge clears once Garmin has it on the right day.
